Living Healthy with Diabetes Workshops

The Living Healthy with Diabetes (DSMP**) is a 6-week workshop for people with type 2 diabetes. It teaches the skills needed in the day-to-day management of diabetes and to maintain and/or increase life’s activities. This workshop supports participants in developing the skills needed in the day-to-day management of type 2 diabetes. The curriculum supports self-managed behavior modification and coping strategies to enable participants to manage their type 2 diabetes, food choices, medications, and increase physical activity levels.
