Hearts of Gold Companionship Program

The Hearts of Gold Companionship Program is a free service provided by Senior Resource Alliance that connects older adults who live alone or are homebound with caring and compassionate volunteers. The program’s goal is to combat social isolation and help those who want to age independently in their home and will do so by lending a listening ear, a friendly voice, and emotional support.

As a Companion, your role is to listen to assigned participants and provide a supportive ear, socialization, and companionship.

This program is currently seeking volunteers to relaunch in 2025. For more information, please feel free to reach out to us at volunteers@sraflorida.org.
